The figures below will prove how successful Dante's Inferno promises to be. The week itwas taken off IMDb.com, Dante's Inferno hit a new ranking record of 2,586. This ranking is better than the last two big releases in the US, Evan AlMighty (41,527) and 1408 (3,560), when they were in pre-production during the 34th week in the IMDb system. Incidentally, it helped improve some artists rankings as well, including director Armand Mastroianni’s whose ranking is the best one since April 4, 2004. Was this a threat to the powers that be?
